Admissions Practices (educate membership on NACAC’s Guide to Ethical Practice in College Admission)
Advancement (solicit sponsorship for MACAC programs, coordinate the Maggie Miller Scholarship, and manage donor relations)
Annual Conference (work with MACAC President-Elect to plan and execute the spring annual conference)
College Fairs (serve on local planning committees for Metro Detroit and West Michigan National College Fairs)
Communications (develop strategies to promote the MACAC mission with MACAC members, educators, and press via e-newsletter, website, and social media)
Government Relations (monitor and advocate for state and federal legislation relating to school counseling and college admission policy)
Inclusion, Access, and Success (develop strategies to help counselors working with underserved populations, coordinate Camp College, and plan Urban Counselor Workshop)
International Initiatives (guides the development of programs and services in helping students transition to postsecondary education in another country.
Membership (promote the MACAC organization, solicit new members, and assist with member renewal)
Professional Development (organize professional development activities)
