Web Conferencing Parent Permission Form
Many teachers will be using web conferencing tools such as, Google Meet and Zoom, to record and zoom classes to any students that may be quarantined for a period of time. These are the tools that will also be utilized in the event we need to have remote learning as a whole school. These tools are free clud conferencing solutions that can be used for small or large group meetings. These platforms allow for a robust audio, video, file, and screen sharing. They also foster interaction with collaborative editing and polling.
These interactive learning experiences may be recorded by the school to monitor instruction and to ensure safety measures are being met as well as to provide access to a student that is temporarily at home. Students, parents, and guardians are prohibited from recording any of these interactive learning experiences but are encouraged to attend. The use of these web conferencing tools shall be subject to all school and Archdiocesan policies. The school will strive to utilize internet-based platforms that ensure student safety and confidentiality.
