The Clappies (similar to the sort-of-popular Oscars), is Clapper's official award ceremony. We'll recognize Clapper creators for their content, community, and creativity. Creators will apply to the following categories for a chance to win a "Clappie":
- Best Comedy Skit🤣
- Most Emotional🥹
- Best Day in the Life🏡
- Community Favorite🧡
- Best Video Award🏆
Requirements:- Creators can apply by submitting 1 video for a chance to be a nominee in their selected category.
- The video needs to be a LINK to the published video on Clapper
- 5 nominees will be selected for each category based on the engagement of their Clapper video
- What does engagement mean? A combination of likes, comments, views, and shares.
- The 5 creators that get the most engagement will be selected as nominees
- Even though the nominees are chosen based on community engagement, the winner for each category will be selected at the meetup on Day 1 by popular vote. We'll have QR codes all over the venue where attendees will vote on which video is the best within each category.
- We'll announce the winners on Day 2 at the ceremony (July 22, at 4 pm CST).
Rules:
- Video submissions need to be a link to published video on Clapper
- Creators may ask their community to vote on their video by likes, comments, and shares.
- The video needs to evocate the theme of the category you are applying. Ex: If you are applying for Best Comedy Skit, don't do a video of the sunset with no context. Be creative!
- Videos must be shot in a vertical format, with no watermarks, and good quality.
- You can apply to a max of 2 categories. Any other application after the first 2 categories will not be accepted.
