We will do everything preventable and in our power to ensure the safety and comfort of all participants. While we anticipate joyful, stress-free outings, we acknowledge that the unexpected can occur. Please read and sign the following section(s) to acknowledge that you take full responsibility for yourself and property while on this FBC HTX outing:

I acknowledge that this activity, like any, may involve the test of a person’s physical and mental abilities and carries with it the potential for property loss, injury, and death (dramatic, we know, but it *could* happen). The risks include, but are not limited to, those caused by vehicular traffic, terrain, facilities, weather, equipment, lack of hydration, overstimulation, bites by insects and wildlife, COVID-19 and its variations, the flu, a cold, anxiety, and actions of other people, including but not limited to, participants, leaders, and organizers. I agree that I absolve the organizers of this event (FBC HTX) of responsibility should any of the above occur.

I certify that I am sufficiently fit of mind and body and have not been advised to not participate by a qualified medical professional.

I hereby consent to receive medical treatment which may be deemed advisable in the event of injury, accident, and/or illness during this activity.

I certify that I will NOT attend this event if I am feeling unwell.

I agree that I will let organizers/guides know if I feel unwell or need anything during this event.
