What is WIIP?
Wharton Impact Investing Partners (WIIP) is a student-led impact investing group at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Graduate students work on investment thesis development, sourcing & screening, and present six investable startups at Demo Day. Sector focuses include: Health & Wellness, Education, Financial Inclusion, Environmental & Sustainability, Urban Development, Food & Nutrition.
What is Demo Day?
Demo Day is our marquee end-of-year event where our six teams pitch startups they have sourced and diligenced to investors, founders, and other Penn students from the impact investing community. Two funds invested in startups our teams pitched at last year's Demo Day.
