WGDR/WGDH Events Submission Form
We want to help you spread the word about your community event. It could be a gathering, meeting, performance, rally, really anything! Free or ticketed, we just need the info on who, what, when, why, how, and where to direct people for more info. We need event info at least 2 weeks in advance to get into our rotation for programmers to read on air. We reserve the right to edit for length and clarity.

A strong event listing includes all the basic info for someone to know when, what, and how to get more info on the event.

Aim for 30 seconds or less (that is about 90 words total).

Make sure the listing includes:

Name of group or person
Date or dates of event
Description of event (25 words or so)
Location
Additional info needed (directions, aimed at specific groups/ages/etc., limits such as drinking age, any others)
Ticket info (if ticketed)
How to learn more info (often a website)

WGDR/WGDH reserves the right to edit for clarity and time for any event submission. A finished example will look like this:

Grace Potter returns to Vermont for a free concert on the statehouse lawn, Friday, June 1 from 7-9pm.
Free parking available throughout Montpelier, all are encouraged to attend with a blanket to sit on the lawn.
