MHFB Youth 2024 Registration
Anyone in 8th-12th grade during the 2023-24 school year is eligible to participate in the Summer 2024 MHFB Youth summer camp. Students should have at least a middle school or higher level playing ability and the ability to read standard sheet music.

The camp includes Marching & Pep Band, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, and/or String Orchestra, and will take place the week of June 15-23. Your schedule will be based on which areas of the program you want to participate in. All of the specific dates are on the website (MHFB.org/youth).

To participate, complete this registration form. A waiver must also be completed by a parent or guardian at the end of this form. Please note that there is a $25 cancellation fee for all withdrawals after June 1, 2024.

Welcome to MHFB Youth, a program of the Mile High Freedom Bands.  Prior to your participation, you are required to complete this participant membership and release form.  If you have any questions, please direct them to us at youth@mhfb.org IMPORTANT INFORMATION PARTICIPATION - By completing this registration, you release the Mile High Freedom Bands, its authorized sponsors and volunteers from all claims arising from participation in the MHFB Youth program unless caused by actions for which the Mile High Freedom Bands would otherwise be liable under Colorado law. MEDICAL RELEASE - You understand and give full authority for the Mile High Freedom Bands to take whatever action it deems necessary to safeguard the health and well-being of the participating student including, but not limited to, consenting to emergency medical care. INSURANCE - You understand the Mile High Freedom Bands does not purchase, or have, any insurance to cover medical, dental, or hospitalization to cover injuries to or loss of life of students, damage to or loss of personal property or to indemnify parents/guardians for any expenses in connection therewith, and that if any insurance is desired, it must be purchased by the parent/guardian. EXPECTED STUDENT CONDUCT - Students participating in the MHFB Youth program have the responsibility to maintain the same behavior standards expected of them while they are in school and are subject to consequences for breaches of such standards up to and including dismissal from the program. MEDIA CONSENT - By participating in the MHFB Youth program, you are giving your consent for the organization to use any photographs, video, or audio recordings during any band function in any medium for educational, promotional, advertising, or other purposes that support the mission of the organization. If you wish to opt out of media consent, you must speak with the MHFB Youth Program Coordinator. Media consent does extent to all forms of social media. Once you complete the registration, we will message the parent/guardian contact provided for that individual to complete this release as well.
