DESCRIPTION:

We will dance in High Park on soft grassy ground, surrounded by trees on all sides We will move with the elements, in each moment and with each other, grounded and present, creative wild and free.  

Silent Disco Headsets will be provided.  All equipment will be sanitized between each use.  If you attend regularly, you may have the choice to use the same numbered headset every time.


TIMING
12:30pm - arrive, check-in and receive your headset
12:45pm - opening circle + guided warm-up
1:00pm -   dance a 5Rhythms wave 
2:30pm -   closing Circle

*Tiered pricing is available so that those of us with more can share, and those of us who could use some support can receive it. When you register at the Supporter rate, a portion of your registration fee is applied toward another dancer's reduced-rate spot. If a lower price will make the classes accessible for you, please register at the 'Supported' rate. If you know you want to dance regularly, and these prices are a barrier for you, please email me at elisa.hollenberg@gmail.com for a possible partial scholarship.

CREW:
If you are interested in being a crew person for this event, please let me know!  Crew roles will be filled until we have one person per class. The role involves coming 30 minutes before class starts to help set up and hand-out headphones, and to stay for 15-30 minutes afterwards, to help collect headphones and scarves. During the class, you are a dancer like everyone else, with no crew responsibilities.  The energy exchange for the crew role is free admission to class on the date that you help out.  You must make a commitment to the class date that you crew, or find a replacement among other crew members. Weather Policy (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY):  If it is raining only lightly the day of the class, we may still be able to dance outdoors, wearing rain ponchos that I will provide, or you can bring a raincoat with a hood.  I will also provide protective coverings for the headsets.   However, if heavy rain, thunderstorms or any serious weather alerts (like poor air quality) are expected for the day of the class, the class will be moved online.  You will be notified two hours before class (by 10:30 a.m.), if the 5Rhythms® class will be moved online for any one day.  The fee will be reduced to $15.  The reason for holding the class online in the event of poor weather is that there are no refunds for the use of park space for our classes and there are many other costs for holding classes.  As well, I have found that maintaining a practice is helpful for body and mind, regardless if our dance is in our homes or in a park.  Hopefully we will be lucky like last year, with only one or two rain days across the entire season (last year we danced for much longer).  But we will still DANCE together, in nature (hopefully!) or if not, online together on occasion.   Instructions for joining online, will be provided upon registration and sent again two hours before an online class.  Please choose your answer below - I have read and understand the weather policy: *
Waiver:  By registering for this event, you are acknowledging that dancing outside on uneven ground with leaves, sticks or other items, can pose a risk for falls, injuries, and that dancing outdoors can also result in exposure to harmful plants and insects and their consequences. In addition, you are acknowledging that although the risk is very low outdoors, exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present.  By attending this event, you voluntarily assume all risks related to dancing outdoors in addition to risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and agree not to hold Elisa Hollenberg, Moving Moments Creations, or 5Rhythms Global liable for any illness or injury. *
General Cancellation Policy (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY):  If you test positive for COVID-19 on the day of a class, please do not attend the class, and you will be provided a full refund.  You can also cancel your registration for up to one week before the class date for a full refund.  After that time, if you cancel and a replacement can be found for your spot, you will be provided a refund, minus a 10% cancellation fee to cover administrative costs.  Please choose your answer below - I have read and understand the cancellation policy. *
