Parent & Me   18-36months $45 per 4 class session or 4-day camp.                                Dancers in this class will be accompanied by a parent, sibling, or friend that is 16+ yrs old. Basic movement and body awareness concepts will be taught. Many social skills will be taught such as taking direction from someone beside their family member, social interaction with others about their age as well as some basic dance steps.                                                                                                                 Parents are welcome to wear workout clothing and dancers are to wear a dance dress or leotard and skirt, tights and slippers. Boys are welcome to wear white t-shirts or onesies, black pants, socks and slippers. We have many new and used items at the Academy for purchase.

Sleeping Beauty Camps   3-4yr old $125 for a 4-day, 2 hour a day camp.                      The Sleeping Beauty includes age-appropriate materials for dancers. The lessons and activities for the group were designed with regard to the developmental skills of the students who will be using them. In addition to movement skills, reading and writing skills were also carefully considered.                      If you have these items dancers are welcome to wear: Female dancers should wear a leotards, tights and ballet slippers is preferred for all Sleeping Beauty camp classes. Skirts are optional. The Academy of Dance does have dancewear if you need any items. Dancers should attend class with their hair secured in a bun. If your dancer’s hair is too short, please make sure it is half up or will stay out of their eyes. Male dancers should wear a white t-shirt, black pants, sock and black or white (depending on age) slippers. If hair is long, please have it secured out of eyes.

Jungle 3-4yr old $125 for a 4-day, 2 hour a day, camp.                                                                   Jungle Camps are designed to teach appropriate skills in the area of jazz/hip hop related to how animals move in the wild. Attendees will learn about the   animal, basic jazz skills and terms, craft related to the animal discussed that day and a snack while watching parts from The Jungle Book.                                                               Dancers should wear a T-shirts or tank tops and shorts with socks, jazz or hip hop shoes. If you are interested in jazz or hip hop shoes the Academy does have dancewear on hand. Dancers should attend class with their hair in a ponytail or bun. If your dancer’s hair is too short, please make sure it is half up or will stay out of their eyes.

Cinderella Camps  5-6yr old   $125 for a 4-day, 2-hour day camp.                                         Cinderella Camps are designed to age appropriately and teach the art of ballet focusing on the ballet of Cinderella. Attendees will learn about the history and story of Cinderella, basic ballet skills and terms, complete a craft related to the story and have a snack while viewing this beautiful ballet.                                                   If you have these items dancers are welcome to wear- Female dancers should wear leotards, tights and ballet slippers is preferred for all Cinderella camp classes. Cowboy    7 yrs old & up $125 for a 4-day 2 hour a day camp.                                               Cowboy camp is for those dancers who like to tap their toes.  This camp will have your dancer learning basic tap steps and history about the wild west.  Dancers will also play with improvisation by putting some of the new steps learned together.                                                                                                                               Dancers should wear T-shirts or tank tops, shorts, socks, and tap shoes.  We do have tap shoes for dancers to use or purchase.  Hair should be up off the neck and out of the eyes.

Junior High and High School Tap 12-19 yr old $65 per month.                                                      Dancers attending this class will learn basic tap skills. Rhythm, musicality, and dance step sequencing will all be taught in a fun environment. We ask dancers to wear workout clothing and tap shoes. We have many new and used tap shoes for purchase at the Academy.

Cecchetti Classes $75 per 4-day session
Cecchetti classes are classical training in the art of ballet. Dancers that are interested in learning the art of ballet and are at least 7 years old are eligible for these classes. This is a progressive method where are our studio any dancer starting between the ages of 7-12 years of age is required to start in the Primary 3 class. Students 12+ are eligible to start in the Grade I class. The opportunity to move up is based on the dancer’s application of corrections, attendance in class and teachers’ approval to submit for examination.
