ADF Showings at Scripps:  "Stuck In Free Fall" work-in-progress by Nicola Bullock

ADF is pleased to host free informal showings of dance pieces in-progress in our Scripps Studio. Masks and proof of vaccination are required for entry. Space is limited and registration is required.

Stuck In Free Fall is a show about Nothing. In this solo performance, which utilizes movement, song, a microphone, and a projection of her artists book by the same name, Nicola guides audience members through a collective reading-and-doing. Featuring poetry, narrative, and love letters to the void, Stuck In Free Fall attempts the impossible task of conjuring, accessing, and experiencing Nothingness together using the only tools we have: our bodies, our voices, and the power of our collective imagination.

Nicola Bullock is a Berlin-based choreographer, dancer, and writer. Her work has been seen at venues and festivals in Canada, Georgia, Germany, Israel, Tunisia, and the US. Most recently Nicola has had the pleasure of collaborating with Pig Iron Theatre Company (The Path of Pins or the Path of Needles) and choreographer Min Yoon | Citizen Truth (Dancing With Violence) on performance projects. She is currently pursuing her MFA in dance at the University of the Arts.
