How Anyone Can Write Science Fiction with Science Fiction Author–WILLIAM LEDBETTER
Enjoy reading and watching science fiction's seemingly detailed and complex worlds, but feel lost when it comes to writing it?

Writing science fiction can sometimes seem daunting or difficult due mostly to the misconception that it must be filled with gee-whiz science that has to be perfect! Come talk with William Ledbetter, who has a deep love of the genre and has been reading, watching, and writing it since he was a kid, and find out how some of the best science fiction might contain very little actual science.

William Ledbetter is a Nebula Award-winning author with two novels and more than seventy speculative fiction short stories and non-fiction articles published in five languages, in markets such as Asimov's, Fantasy & Science Fiction, Analog, Escape Pod, and the SFWA blog.

He's been a space and technology geek since childhood and spent most of his non-writing career in the aerospace industry. He is a member of SFWA, the National Space Society of North Texas, and a Launch Pad Astronomy workshop graduate. He lives near Dallas with his wife, a needy dog, and three spoiled cats.

"Level Five" and "Level Six," the first two novels in his Killday Series are available from Audible Originals and soon in paper and e-book from Interstellar Flight Press.

William is represented by David Hale Smith with the InkWell Management Literary Agency.
