Each delegate to American Legion Auxiliary California Girls State (ALA CAGS) is selected and sponsored by an American Legion Auxiliary Unit. A Unit can sponsor any number of delegates, but there can be only one delegate from a high school; Units can sponsor delegates from more than one high school in the area. October 1 is the deadline for American Legion Auxiliary Units to submit a reservation form with the name(s) of the school(s) they would like to sponsor for the 2024 ALA CA Girls State session. We continue to accept reservations after the deadline.
