Parents may coach their own children, riders may advise other riders but no “riding lessons” may be given/charged for at the FARM Center unless the instructor is a professional clinician hired by the FARM Center.
Every member who plans to ride must contact a committee member in advance. No more than 5 people in the arena at once. No riding alone. Youth (under 18) must be accompanied by parents or FFA/4-H sponsor.
$25 light fee will be assessed per rider for use of arena lights in the evening.
Members are expected to treat all equipment/materials at The FARM Center with respect. Reasonable fees can be assessed if equipment is broken while you are using it. (You break it, you buy/fix it.) Remove all garbage from the grounds. If you find garbage on the grounds upon entry, notify a committee member immediately (a picture would be nice).
Riding is limited to the arena and between arena and trailers/other designated areas. We encourage all riders to be cautious and aware of wildlife (including large snakes, deer, turkeys) that may be found on the grounds. Be aware that the property was used as a farm for many years and there may be bits of old barbed wire fencing, old fence posts, post holes etc. anywhere on the property.
All trash must be cleaned up/removed from the property when you leave.
The seating area for the amphitheater (grassy terraces just above) should be left clean of manure. Large piles of manure in trailer parking areas, etc. should be dispersed.
Abuse of any animal while on the grounds will result in cancellation of your membership and a ban from use of the facility.
Proof of negative Coggins must be available at all times for each horse.
NO guests...each rider/family must be a member
Lower gate entrance is the only entrance to be in use.
