Dear GALA Parents/Guardians,

This year, we have more prospective students applying to GALA than in any other year. We need a parent from every current GALA student to fill out this commitment form and let us know if your student will be returning to GALA for the 2023-2024 school year. If we do not hear back from our current GALA families, we will assume that you are not returning and that your spot can be opened up for new students.

IF YOU ARE NOT RETURNING TO GALA, we will miss you! Please let us know ASAP and PLEASE DON'T HOLD YOUR SPOT at GALA. When families hold their spot when they plan to leave, they put new girls on the waiting list at a huge disadvantage, making it more difficult for them, as they will miss the excitement of Registration Day in April, summer grade-level events, making friends at Orientation, and the Goddess Games. We are here for you, whatever your decision. If you would like to meet with me or one of your counselors about a potential move to a different school, please don't hesitate to reach out.

MAYBE LEAVING? If you have applied to other schools, and won't know your decision by the commitment form deadline, please choose "maybe" in the dropdown list.  

IF YOU ARE DEFINITELY STAYING AT GALA next year, we are so excited to have you! We will continue many of our traditions and will be adding new ones. We look forward to continuing to learn and succeed together as a GALA family.

We kindly ask that you fill out the information below by February 19, 2023. If you have multiple students at GALA, please fill out a form for EACH student.

I/We parent(s)/guardian(s) understand that the following must be turned in to the GALA office by June 9, 2023.
1) I agree to fill out transfer paperwork (Parent Assurance Form) and turn into the office. Your student can not be transferred to another school or have transcripts forwarded without submitting this form to the GALA office. Scroll to the bottom of this webpage or visit www.galacademy.org/intent to download the form.
2) I agree to turn in all textbooks and/or outstanding balances.
3) I agree to turn in the GALA issued Chromebook, case, charger and clear any damages.
4) I agree to turn in any High School sports uniforms (if applicable)
5) I will consider donating uniforms in the GALA main office.
6) I understand that any unclaimed items in Lost and Found will be donated.
7) I agree that I am forfeiting my spot at GALA and, once I leave, if I wish to return, I would need to re-apply.
