To Washington State Legislators:
 
Film productions represent a critical investment in the statewide economy. Not only does film provide family wage jobs but for every $1 we invest in keeping film and television in Washington, there is a $10 boost to our economy.  That’s money spent in local communities, at restaurants, hotels, grocery stores and main street shops.  Now is the time to expand the film incentive program – it’s not only an investment in our economy, but it’s an investment in our communities and our families.


If the legislature really wants to support the creative economy, film is the way to do it.
