ISA ONTARIO 2022 CONFERENCE CALL FOR PAPERS
The ISA Ontario Chapter is now seeking presentation proposals for the 73rd Annual Educational Conference and Trade Show!

This is the premier gathering for arboriculture professionals in Ontario. Arborists, foresters, urban foresters, consultants, researchers, educators and students come together with top industry professionals to learn the latest in research, technology and innovations in the arboriculture industry.

2022 will be a hybrid event for the first time: LIVE from Deerhurst Resort February 16-18 2022, and virtual soon after, with select session recordings available about a week later. Yes, you read that correctly: LIVE!!! Finally, an opportunity to re-connect live with friends and colleagues we have not seen in-person for far too long!

Since the beginning of time, humans have intuitively understood the value of trees to their physical and mental health;  a pandemic certainly reinforced this knowledge. With this Conference, ISA Ontario hopes to explore not only the scientific, business, and communication of arboriculture, but also the impact that trees have on our health – both physical & mental. Principally, arborists are dedicated to understanding the benefits of trees and the science behind tree growth and vitality, but how does it all connect in the larger picture of Urban Arboriculture? Trees and people, living in diverse harmony. We aim to showcase and understand these deeply rooted complexities guiding arborists to expand their knowledge and passion for trees.

This year, the ISAO Educational Conference and Trade Show will be returning to Deerhurst Resort in Muskoka. This venue offers a variety of amenities for our conference as well as for delegates to come to learn and play in the north. Our hybrid event will allow for both in-person and virtual learning with our ISA Ontario event app in place for both formats
