UCLA Computer Science Fall 2022 Town Hall Survey
UCLA's Computer Science department is continuously evolving. The Town Hall is a way for the department to hear and respond to student concerns and feedback.  This form is an effort towards improvement of UCLA CS and making sure students' voices are heard.

This has been organized by student organizations ACM, exploretech.la, and UPE, and responses will only be used anonymously. Please fill out this survey as thoroughly as you can!

NOTE: Signing into your UCLA email is for credibility purposes; it will NOT be used to trace your responses back to you. Your UCLA email will be used as a "password" to get food at Townhall.

If you have not yet RSVP'd for the Town Hall (Wednesday, Nov 9, 6-8 pm), you can do so here:  https://forms.gle/XceEgzRWbNt2JB1B7

UCLA Engineering Ethics Reform
The UCLA engineering school is reforming its Ethics Curriculum. The proposed plan is to replace the engineering writing and ethics class with two 2-unit classes. The first would be a lower division class focused on communication and the other would be an upper division major-specific class focused on ethics. This section of the survey is designed to gather information and student feedback for the upper division major-specific class focused on ethics and to help shape the structure of this new class, which is why the questions are required.
What approach would you prefer for this new class? *
If the school decides to take a case-study based approach, would you like the class to be focused on *
Would you like the class to be taught by: *
Would you prefer some ethics content to be embedded in your CS courses regardless of this new class where appropriate? *
Please feel to write your thoughts on this approach here.
