2020 LVAIC Global Student Conference - Call for Poster Proposals
Welcome to the third annual LVAIC Global Student Conference to be held at Lafayette College on February 15, 2020. The purpose of the conference is to spark meaningful conversations with faculty, staff and students who are interested in global issues from different LVAIC and nearby partner schools. The conference will allow all participants to have a wider lens through which they can see the world. The poster presentations may feature the academic work of international students or research done on an international topic by domestic students.

The conference goals are to:

●     Build cross-cultural understanding while promoting student scholarship
Increase cross-campus interactions of students, faculty and staff to build globally welcoming campus environments
Continue advancing collaboration between LVAIC and partner campus communities

The proposals can be papers you are working on or something completed in previous semesters. The standard poster format should be adapted from these papers but digital materials will also be considered.  We can help you print your posters but let us know ahead of time.

The deadline for submissions is December 31, 2019, at 11:59 pm.

In January, a selection committee will review the proposals and notify students of the committee’s decisions and if help printing posters is needed.  Those accepted will present their work at this engaging and interactive event February 15, 2020. All campus community members are welcome to attend. A separate email to RSVP for the event will go out to all the campuses in January as well.  Transportation will be provided. Please contact your campus international office if you have questions or comments.
