Great opportunity to earn Red Cross certification for Lifeguard; a marketable skill set.
There is National shortage of Lifeguards - there are high needs everywhere.
Potential for Great summer (and Year-Round) work; and Career enhancement.
Each class needs a minimum of 6 participants & max class size is limited.
Students may be asked to accept different class dates to achieve needed class sizes.
Successful candidates must be at least 15 years old on the day of their final live session.

Pre-Test Session - Allow 1.5 Hours.
Online learning is on your own; at your own pace. Allow 7+ hours between your Pre-Test and 1st Live Session.
Live Sessions are conducted over 2 days, 8 hours per day.

Successful students will be certified in Lifeguard, First Aid, and CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
This offering is part of the Red Cross Lifeguard Blended Learning Option. There are 3 steps to pass:
1. Pass the 3 physical skills tests in the During the Pre-Test session.
2. Complete the 7+ hours of online learning on the Red Cross website; prior to attending the Live sessions.
3. Successfully demonstrate all of the skills and scenarios; and pass the final exam (16+ hours of live instruction over 2 days).
Steps to register:
1. Complete this form in its entirety to reserve your spot in a Pre-Test session. Separately, please, select your Live Session dates, too.
2. All participants must Download, complete, and return the Dolphins/FFCHS Covid release HERE prior to the Pre-Test:

3. Attend your Pre-Test session and successfully complete the 3 physical skills tests.
4. Pay $325 onsite after passing the Pre-Test. Payment in cash or check Payable to Colorado Dolphins.
OR we can invoice you directly to pay via credit/debit card.
5. Once paid, you will receive an email with link to your online learning portion of the course.
Please, allow AT LEAST 7+ hours to complete this online portion of the course.
6. The link to the pdf of the Red Cross Lifeguard Manual will be emailed to you.
It is your responsibility to have access to the LG Manual during all parts of the Live Sessions.
7. Forward your signed LG Online Completion certificate and photo ID to
ddillon@coloradodolphins.org in advance (at least the day before) of the first Live session.
8. Bring (have access to) you LG Manual during all Live Sessions. Attend ALL parts of your Live Session and Successfully pass all Assessments, Skills, Scenarios, and Written Exam.
