We’d like to take this opportunity to welcome you back and to thank you for signing up as a volunteer at the Mill Neck Family's annual Apple Festival, on Saturday October 8th & Sunday, October 9th, 2022! The festival fully benefits Mill Neck's mission, dedicated to creating a world in which Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals are included, empowered, celebrated and embraced as equals through quality education, employment, audiological and spiritual programs and services. Whether you are a seasoned volunteer or a newcomer, please know that this Festival could not run without you. We are forever grateful for your hard work and dedication.
The festival will be back in person this year, following a two year drive-thru format due to the pandemic. The excitement is building, as the 2022 festival promises to be bigger and better than ever. Located on Mill Neck Manor’s 86-acre campus, the Apple Festival draws tens of thousands of visitors who return year after year to enjoy this long time, celebrated tradition. Mill Neck Manor alumni also attend the Apple Festival, as an annual “homecoming,” with the event bringing the heart of the Long Island Deaf Community together.
Thank you for your support!
PLEASE NOTE: All volunteers receive a complimentary lunch for their service.
You must be at least 16 years old to volunteer.
