Want to learn from the best of the best? The GRAMMY U Mentorship Program provides you with an opportunity to gain invaluable knowledge from our community’s top industry professionals. This program will run for one semester and will give you multiple opportunities to engage with your selected Mentor and see first-hand the business of making music. Mentors and mentees can mutually decide to meet virtually or in person.
Our Mentors work in all aspects of the industry, so whether you are a songwriter, musician, producer, or want to work in management, a label, journalism, booking, or touring, we’ve got you covered.
SPRING MENTORSHIP PROGRAM DATES:APPLICATIONS: December 12, 2022 - January 27, 2023
PROGRAM: February 13 - May 5, 2023
VIRTUAL ORIENTATION: February 17 at 11 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. CT / 2 p.m. ET

GUIDELINES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Currently a GRAMMY U member
•
GPA of 3.0 or higher
•
Must complete application below
•
Able to attend two meetings with a Mentor, and optional other meetings
•
Desire to learn from established professionals
•
Professional demeanor and communication with Mentor
•
No self-promotion
•
Duration is for one full school semester
•
Members will be matched with a Mentor based on information provided in the application to the best of our abilities
•
Meetings with Mentors may over Zoom, at their place of business, studios, events, restaurants, etc.
•
Experiences may include one-on-one meetings with Mentor, label meetings, artist showcases, studio sessions, writing sessions, special events, etc.
•
Time commitments may vary depending on availability and project type
•
Mentors and Mentees will work together to find times that work for all
•
Due to limited space, not all members will be accommodated. We appreciate your support and anyone not included in this semester will have an opportunity to apply again in Fall 2023.
