2024 SPRING NATURE PROGRAMS:

SPRING BIRD SURVEY: Saturday May 11 (8am-10am)
Birders wanted!  Spring migration is the most exciting time of the year. Join volunteer naturalist Gina DiMaio for a spring bird survey at Saddler's Woods in honor of Global Big Day to celebrate and count our avian friends. Data will be collect via eBird. We are looking for experienced birders who can identify species by both sight and sound and are knowledgeable about the resident and migratory species found in Camden County, NJ.

Limit: limited to 6 registrants. Selected registrants will be notified via e-mail by Thursday 5/6

SECOND SUNDAY WALK : Sunday, May 12 (10am-12pm)
Enjoy the first signs of spring in Saddler’s Woods with a tour lead by Director of Education Jeff Calhoun. Be on the lookout for skunk cabbage, the first buzzing of ground bees, and the emergence of tree buds!
