Graduate students often struggle with finding and/or claiming their voice in their academic writing. In this workshop, we will explore strategies for making YOUR voice clear in your writing. Rather than focus on "sounding" like an academic, this workshop will explore what it means to have an authentic perspective in an academic text. We will also explore the difference between a writing process and a writing product, and the way voice/perspective factors into each of these.
