Dear Participant! We are Zoltán Pelle and Áron Zsebedits second year students in the BA Psychology program at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Pécs. Our main goal with this research is to find correlations between gaming, toxicity and empathy. As we are interested in the opinions of gamers and non-gamers alike, please also participate if you don't consider yourself a gamer. Please only fill out this questionnaire if you are at least 18 years old!
First, we will ask you some demographic questions, then you will need to complete two questionnaires. After that, you will have to rate 15 pictures from video games. Finally, you will be asked to fill out a short questionnaire again.
Completing the questionnaire will take around 15 minutes and it is totally anonymous. Some pictures may be upsetting. You can stop participating for any reason at any moment before sending the questionnaire in. As we only use the data grouped, we are unable to give individual feedback regarding your results. You are not receiving compensation (financial or otherwise) for participation in the study.
