Submit Children' Names for Lenten Project of the Children’s Worship
This Lenten Season, please consider sponsoring a child (children) so they can receive special Lenten resources. The sponsor funds will also help cover continuing expenses for the Children’s Worship service, which we plan on continuing through the summer.

The Lenten resources are offered to children in the annual conference.

Here’s how to participate:
1. Send us the name of a child (or children).  Deadline for name submissions is February 10. (If you are a pastor or church staff who has more than 3 families in your church who want to receive the packets, you may consider to email the list (name and address) to revmotoe@sacjumc.com)
2. The Pentecost Circuit will prepare and mail a packet of Lenten resources to chidlren  (limited to one packet per family)

Your sponsorship will be anonymous (the child will not know who is sponsoring him or her).  You can donate any amount (the circuit is hoping to raise $20 per child up to 200 children conference wide).

Checks can be written to Sacramento First UMC, 2100 J Street, Sacramento, CA 95816 with a memo line stating “For Children’s Worship.” Online donations can be made at www.Sacjumc.com/give under General Fund, Children’s Worship Lent. Deadline for donations is Easter Sunday.

Lenten packets include: Daily Devotion booklet, Lenten Children’s Calendar, stickers and coloring pages. Children will also get a link to a special Zoom conference with Mort.
