'I can't concentrate' - Pretest Questionnaire
This study is being conducted by The Glasgow School of Art student Rebekah Michal Brown, a student in MSc Serious Games and Virtual Reality, for her Master's dissertation under the supervision of Daisy Abbott (d.abbott@gsa.ac.uk). As part of Rebekah's dissertation, she has created a game titled 'I can't concentrate'. This form is meant to be completed prior to testing 'I can't concentrate'.

This study will investigate to what extent a simple 3D narrative game 'I can't concentrate' can educate participants on the different Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) behavioural subtypes, and how this condition (and the different subtypes) MAY affect different sexes.

Participants are urged to complete a pretest (this questionnaire) and a separate posttest questionnaire to assess their ADHD knowledge before and after testing the game. Additionally, the posttest questionnaire will assess if users felt empathy for two major characters in the game who were modeled after separate ADHD subtypes. This will help the researcher answer their research question.

This study DOES NOT collect personal data (e.g. name, address, other identifiable characteristics etc.). You have the right to withdraw from this study at any point.
