Dear Volters,
On the 16th of March 2019 Volt Europa held one of it’s earliest pan-european events the “Schengen March”. Volters from DE, FR, LU, BE, NL marched from France through Germany into Luxembourg to symbolise the open borders.
This event was real fun and ARTE came to film the event. Which at the time was a huge success.
Volt Luxembourg together with its neighbouring chapters wants to revamp this event on the Sunday 9th of May and you all need to be part of it.
What’s the plan?
March from Apach France through Perl into Luxembourg singing your lungs out for Europe!
START: Planned at 11:30 normally from Schengen to Apach and back to Schengen through Perl.
Why the 9th of May 2024?
On 9 May, the European Union (EU) celebrates Europe Day to commemorate the Schuman declaration. This declaration, held in 1950 by the then French Foreign Minister, is now considered the founding act of the EU
