2024 Avon Club Scholarship Application Form
The Avon Club Scholarship is a $1,500 scholarship awarded annually to a female senior student residing within the Avonworth School District. Senior students residing Avonworth High School as well as private and home school students are eligible, but the students home address must be located within the Avonworth School District footprint.

Directions for Completion:

Complete all fields for consideration. Applications must be submitted no later than 12:00 midnight on February 5, 2023. Your application will not be considered complete until a confirmation email is received from scholarship@theavonclub.org. If you do not receive a confirmation email within 24 hours of receipt please contact scholarship@theavonclub.org.

There are two phases to the selection process. The first phase will use the following rubric to narrow the applicant pool to 4-6 young women who will be asked to attend an interview.

Applicants will be notified no later than February 28, 2023 if they have been selected to move on to phase two, a group interview, which will take place on Sunday, March 12, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. at the Ben Avon Borough Building at 7101 Church Avenue in Ben Avon. The interview will consist of several predetermined questions asked of each applicant by the Avon Club Scholarship Committee.

Two scholarship winners will be determined by the equally weighted combination of scores from phases one and two. Applicants will be notified of their standing by March 19, 2023.  Scholarship awardees will need to be available for the awards presentation at the Avon Club meeting on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 7:00 p.m., tentatively scheduled at Anchor and Anvil Coffee House in Ben Avon.
