Mediation is an informal and confidential way for people to resolve disputes with the help of a neutral mediator who is trained to help people discuss their differences. The mediator does not decide who is right or wrong or issue a decision. Instead, the mediator helps the parties work out their own solutions to their concerns.

 

Mediation can be done in person or in an online format. OPN-Door Communications is comfortable in conducting mediation in an online format. However, effective 3/13/2020 and due to COVID-19, OPN-Door Communications will only offer ON-Line Mediation, On-Line Facilitation, and Conflict Coaching.

Mediation Services are $120.00 per hour and minimum deposition of 2 hours or $240.00 is required before the mediation can occur.

Partnering with one of our skilled online facilitators is the most efficient way to ensure you can focus on the outcome of your meeting or session, instead of worrying about how it’s conducted.

Facilitation Services are $100.00 per hour and minimum deposition of 2 hours or $200.00 is required before the facilitation can occur.

Conflict coaching is defined as a set of skills and strategies used to support peoples’ ability to engage in, manage, or productively resolve conflict.  In this process, the conflict coach works one-on-one with a coachee experiencing conflict with another person.  Conflict coaching enables the coachee to talk about the conflict with a neutral third party (the conflict coach), consider options for managing the conflict, and design an approach to discuss the conflict with the other person.  Conflict coaching can be used as a stand-alone process or can be practiced with each of the parties in separate meetings during mediation.
