Bethany Village Live: a Disciples frontier experience
This 5 week series for children ages 3 and up will be on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am at Spangler Memorial (shelter house at the bottom of the back parking lot) beginning on August 7th.  During this experience, the children will visit nineteenth century Bethany Village (home of Alexander Campbell) where they will meet different characters from the Disciples' history.  They will learn the basic aspects of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) history and central Disciples' values. There will also be frontier games, crafts and other fun throughout the month.  This will be an awesome opportunity for our children to learn in a meaningful way what it means to be a member of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).  At the same time, Pastor Laureen will be leading a class for youth and adults on Disciples' identity in the chapel. So bring the whole family and learn what it means to be a Disciple of Christ.
