In Translation - Qualitative Research (Tagalog)
'In Translation' is a project promoting the power of nuance, by exploring aspects of storytelling in language and experiences of culture. Considering the dominance of English as a global language, this research seeks to explore the universal and the specific within visual storytelling, using 'untranslatable words' as a starting point for conversations around cultural symbols and experiences of language.

These questions focus on you, and your experiences of 'untranslatable words' within your language, to develop conversations as starting points for my research. There is no judgement, correct or wrong answer here, and the idea is to spark ideas, stories and new perspectives, to build rounder picture on specific cultures. I will use these responses for research purposes only, with the hopes of building a documentary film or designing outcomes that will tell stories around this research.

Please feel free to respond in English or your mother tongue here.
Alternatively, you can create a recording of your answers if you prefer and send to tyersjohanna@gmail.com.
Thank you for taking the time to contribute to this research!
