Group resiliency is a crucial component of a local CCL group’s success and the enjoyment and retention of its volunteers. CCL volunteers, and the chapters to which they belong, are key to advancing CCL’s mission. Group Leaders have one of the biggest impacts on their group's resiliency. They need support and ideas – something you can provide as a volunteer trained in providing resilience.
Are you a “people-person” who values the interactions, successes and enjoyment of your local CCL chapter? Are you interested in helping to attract members to your chapter? Do you like the idea of supporting your chapter and local volunteers to be strong and steady in their important climate work? If so, you may be interested in volunteering as a Group Resilience Coordinator.
The Group Resilience Coordinator (GRC) helps prevent burnout. Working with the Group Leader (GL), the GRC will work to keep their local group connected and strong, individually and collectively, by suggesting practices, group exercises and other activities that enhance relationships, enjoyment, and stress relief. To do this, they will be provided training, education, and actionable ideas by CCL's Resilience Team (consisting of CCL’s Resilience Coordinator and the Resilience Building Action Team).
