2023 PTF Committee Nomination Form
Nominations for the 2023 PTF Committee are now open. The 2022 PTF Committee invites nominations for any one or more of the positions listed below.
Voting will take place at the PTF Annual General Meeting, Thursday 30 March 2023, 7:00pm.
Nominations must be received by 5:00pm Wednesday 29 March 2023 via the online form.
PTF Membership is open to all parents and caregivers of students attending the School, members of the School staff, Alumni of the School, parents and caregivers of alumna and friends of staff or parents and caregivers. The objectives of the PTF are to connect parents, caregivers and teachers; support student and teacher-led initiatives; and provide services to the IGS community.
Every volunteer at IGS must comply with the School’s Volunteer Policy and the PTF Code of Conduct for Volunteers. This policy and code requires, amongst other things, that:
- All volunteers have a Working With Children (WWC) Check before volunteering at the School (regardless of any exemptions that apply under the applicable law) and a Covid Vax Certificate ;
- Volunteers carry out tasks in a manner consistent with the School’s expectations, including maintenance of a professional, cooperative and confidential working environment;
- All volunteers conduct themselves in an acceptable and appropriate manner (including treating everyone with courtesy, consideration and sensitivity; with respect to cultures, beliefs, opinions and decisions of others; cooperate with staff to ensure safety and welfare of students);
- Volunteers take reasonable care for their own health and safety, and the health and safety of others;
The PTF Committee consists of the PTF Executive Officers and at least two other Project and Activities Coordinators.

Note: Financial membership of the PTF is conferred to families on a yearly basis. The School levies the annual PTF subscription set by the PTF Committee (currently $20 per family). A family may opt out of paying the PTF subscription by written notice to the School prior to the commencement of each school year.
