South Asian Digital Humanities
Thanks for completing this survey. It will be used to gauge interest in and engagement with digital methods in South Asian studies (primarily but not exclusively in textual studies), to plan the development of resources, and to think about increasing the "impact," in terms of research outputs, of digital methods in South Asian studies. There are three short sections, and it shouldn't take more than a few minutes to complete.

The results of this survey will be published. You may complete this survey anonymously, in which case your answers will appear in the publication. You may also choose to provide your name and contact information. In that case, I will understand that you give me permission to use your name in reporting the results of this survey, and to contact you to follow up on your ideas and suggestions.

You will notice that I ask about specific research questions that you have wanted to answer but have not yet been able to answer. If you are at all uncomfortable with other people "stealing" these questions, then please skip this part of the survey. I personally will not follow up on any of these questions without your express permission and collaboration, should you choose to provide your contact information. But I cannot prevent others from pursuing these questions when the results of the survey are published.

This survey was made by Andrew Ollett (University of Chicago) as part of the Digital Humanities Beyond Modern English project.
