FOSOTA / Friends of Ruth Asawa School of the Arts has been awarded a San Francisco Arts Commission grant to install a new mural that will celebrate arts educators who have inspired our young people in the classroom and beyond.
Sited alongside Woodside Drive in San Francisco, the public artwork will include large-scale portraits of SFUSD arts educators from a variety of disciplines who have had a demonstrable impact on the youth of San Francisco.
We are currently seeking input from families, students, teachers, staff, and community members: Please nominate any stand-out SFUSD arts educators you would like to see depicted in the mural.
The deadline for nominations has been extended to Friday, May 10th* Nominate your favorite arts educator today.
*Soft deadline. We will be accepting nominations made through the weekend (May 12th)
