Barista Champs Regional Venue Host 
Thank you for expressing interest in hosting a Regional event in the 2025 Aotearoa Barista Champs.

If you think you have a venue suitable, please fill out the form so we have all the correct details and contacts to start the process of finding hosts. We will then finalise sponsorship and the event branding.

We are looking for three hosts in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. In the event that more hosts apply, we will select based on location, space available and facilities within to reach a wide-ranging audience within each region.

IF YOU HAVE:

A space/venue with the capacity to host a large group of people available on a Sunday for the event from 7am - 6pm. Saturday access for set up and judge calibration is also needed.

At least two people on-site during the event assisting with running the event, ensuring that the venue is tidy at all times and guests are welcomed. A main point person on logistics from the start of the agreement to the days of the event. 

Site raw requirements: Space and power for 4-5 single group machines and 3-4 grinders, two large fridges and AV equipment. Ability to plug in the two large fridges, brew coffee for the attendees and a space to wash dishes.

Competition space: Bench space for two single group machines and a single grinder alongside a bar leaner area for four judges to sit on bar stools.

Barista Practice area: Space for two x single group machines and two grinders for the competition along side a space with table areas for baristas to prepare and lay out their equipment.

Judges area: Space for up to 20+ Judges to store equip. A space for debrief and scoring away from the main area.

Ability to recycle/rubbish collection to create a sustainable event.

Our event sponsors may be different to your equipment offerings and we always work together to create an outcome beneficial to all parties involved.

We will send the all equipment needed from the various sponsors, ability to accept/store machinery and equipment is needed around the dates of the events. Wall space to put up posters. Storage space for boxes and packing.

We appreciate each venue has it's own unique attractions and workable aspects. We've had amazing feedback on 2024 and are looking forward to building our community and craft further in 2025.
