Below are the 7 main rules which all students participating in an Aylsham High School residential visit must adhere to. Before your child’s visit with Aylsham High School you are required to read through this form and sign to confirm both you and your child agree to abide by the rules and are aware of the consequences if the rules are broken.
Aylsham High School residential trips rules - 7 main rules

No smoking or bringing cigarettes, e-cigarettes, lighters or matches on the visit

No boys in girls’ bedrooms/or girls in boys’ bedrooms

No drinking or bringing alcohol or illegal substances on the visit
4
No anti-social behaviour i.e. bullying, vandalism, theft, graffiti, racism etc.

No leaving the hotel/campsite unsupervised or entering areas that are out of bounds

No inappropriate use of mobile phones

Students must remain in their own rooms when told and not visit the rooms of others.
In the event of any of the above rules being broken a student can expect to be sent home. The parent/carer will then be responsible for their collection and journey home and will be unable to claim any reimbursement for the shortened course or any travelling expenses.
In addition to these rules –
- Students must remember that they are representing the school and normal school rules apply at all times
- Students must adhere to the timings given to them throughout the trip
- Students must ensure that they are respectful of themselves, others and their environment at all times
- Students will remember that we will be visiting public locations and will be courteous to the general public and considerate of the type of location which we will be visiting
- Students will remember that they may be in a busy tourist area and will conduct themselves in a manner as to not put themselves or others at risk
- Students will have fun and embrace each activity and adventure with great optimism, creating a cheery cohesive atmosphere
- Students must take responsibility for their own belongings
- Students must not walk off on their own at any time
