As part the 2023/24 membership package with Hull Active Schools your school has the opportunity to access bespoke, targeted support from our PE specialist partner, Owen Denovan, from Primary Steps in PE. We are committed to raising the level of teacher confidence in PE and therefore want to provide support for schools who demonstrate a commitment to sustainable PE and effective PE teaching. Support this year can come in the form of;
- Subject knowledge PE content demonstrations
- Subject specific training
- PE planning support with individual teachers to aid with AfL, differentiation
- Outstanding PE demonstration to help raise the expectation and standard of PE teaching
- Lesson content to supplement existing planning
- Whole staff meetings
- Observations and monitoring
- PE Coordinator support
As a partnership we have a limited amount of availability with Owen. In order to maximize the impact of his time and support we are opening an application window schools to request support. Primary schools can apply through this expression of interest form to access support. This form must be returned before Friday 29th September 2023 to be considered.
