God's Work our Hands Weekend of Serving is opportunity to celebrate who we are as the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America – one church, freed in Christ to serve and love our neighbor. Service activities offer an opportunity for us to explore one of our most basic convictions as Lutherans: that all of life in Jesus Christ – every act of service, in every daily calling, in every corner of life – flows freely from a living, daring confidence in God’s grace.

On Saturday, September 7th, we will be partnering with Outreach for Hope for their annual Family Bike Ride event at Petrifying Springs Park.

On Sunday, September 8th the volunteer opportunities include; making lunches for the Shalom Center, volunteering at Safe Harbor Humane Society, Yard work/weeding at Lord of Life, and lastly, a prayer service that will include prayer and quiet meditation for our congregational community and our community outside our church walls. The service projects will begin right after worship.
