Confirmation: December
Hello everyone! Welcome to the online lesson for December's Confirmation Class. Today we are going to be discussing the Holy Spirit in Scripture, and how the Holy Spirit has worked in the lives of Biblical believers. As you receive the Holy Spirit in full during your Confirmation, hopefully you will be motivated to discover how the Spirit will work within you in your lifetime to accomplish the will of God. :) The Scripture referring to the Holy Spirit that we have also provides the Catholic Church with a guide as to how Confirmation should, as a rite, be performed.

Our Opening Prayer is:

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful.
Kindle in them the fire of your love.
Send forth your Spirit, Lord, and they shall be created.
You shall renew the face of the earth.
Let us pray, O God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit,
Did instruct the hearts of your faithful.
Grant that in the same Spirit we may be truly wise,
And ever rejoice in his consolation.
Through the same Christ our Lord, Amen.
