Managing COPD: how can research help patients and their carers?
People living with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and their carers are invited to an event at the University of Manchester.

At this event, we want to bring together researchers and people with COPD to develop research ideas together.

Who can take part:
Anyone who has been diagnosed with COPD or who cares for someone living with COPD can join the event, as long as you are able to travel to Manchester. You don’t need any special knowledge or skills to take part!

What taking part will involve:
At our event, you will hear about research around COPD going on at the University of Manchester and other nearby universities. You will also get a chance to talk to researchers about your experiences of living with COPD. We will provide lunch, tea, coffee and cake.

When and where?
The event will take place on Thursday, 21. November (afternoon) at Manchester Meeting Place (near Piccadilly Station). We will send you further details once you have registered.
