Scientific Reviewers have the following responsibilities:
1. Inspect sources the author cites
2. Ensure that scientific information is communicated accurately
3. Clarify any confusing scientific information the author finds while writing
4. Assist in creating APA citations
In the event that an author is not able to finish writing an article, the scientific reviewer serves as the de facto author (ie. the scientific reviewer serves as the new author). Proper authorship will be noted in the article and determined on a case-by-case basis.
You are expected to make weekly edits on one article. Ideally, you will commit at least 1 hour per week for a 6 week duration. You will be cited as a scientific reviewer on the article.
