PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING ALL THE WAY THROUGH! IT IS IMPORTANT!

After submission, please expect to hear back from the Training Director, as soon as they can respond and then two days before sessions begin. You will be invited to our Slack channel designed for training. Please check your email with information.

Training is only for CSU students. If you are a student but not at CSU, please reach out to student media adviser Jake Sherlock at Jake.Sherlock@colostate.edu.

Training sessions can typically run for about an hour. We will try to keep them short but as you can expect, there is a lot to cover. Please reserve an hour of time depending on the session time you select.

There are Three Rounds of training per semester. This allows you to pick a time that will work best for you over the course of your academics. Each round lasts 4 weeks. New applicants to the program will be required to attend the All Tracks training, and their desired position training. The All Tracks section is designed to give you an introduction and essential overview of CTV, and your desired position training is designed to train you on the position you want. After training, you will shadow a current employee in the position you desire, to really learn the ropes. You can shadow at any time throughout the semester!

While not required, we always recommend you cross train in at least one area, so you can really learn how it all comes together. As an additional bonus, you might find you like a different job better!

Rounds start on these dates and last for 4-weeks.

Please choose which session time works best for you:

ROUND 1 : January 22nd - February 16th
ROUND 2 : February 19th - March 22nd (SPRING BREAK MARCH 9th-17th NO TRAINING!!!)
ROUND 3 : March 25th - April 19th

Each position has one week in the program, with two sessions per week. The All Tracks program is 1 week, then you will attend one more week of training. Below, please select which training session works best for you. Sessions will be either on Monday at 4PM or 6:30PM MST, or Friday at 5PM or 6:30PM MST depending on the training. There will be some differences in times here and there to make adjustments for holidays, or other CTV business conflicts. The Training Director for CTV will be sure to notify you of any time differences well in advance of your selections, to ensure you can still attend.

If no times work in your schedule, please reach out to the CTV Training Director Max Dietz (mdietz@collegiantv.com) to schedule alternative times.
