It is important for you to keep the band staff informed of your plans throughout the summer. Every reasonable effort should be made to attend summer events: summer sectionals on select Tuesdays and summer rehearsals on select Thursdays.

This form should be completed by a parent/guardian -- not by a student. Submit one form for each child in the band. Thank you!

Summer Absence Policies

As always, absences are excused in the event of a significant injury, illness, emergency, or death in the family and when they are communicated in a timely manner, preferably prior to the absence.

Absences will also be excused if you notify the staff of family vacations, church retreats, summer camps, or similar events that are scheduled during June or July.

We intend to use your input to identify the best placements for all students for Varsity and Junior Varsity marching positions in the contest show. Please contact a band director with any questions.
