A note about what we're looking for

CFTC's mission is to generate live performing arts experiences by and for our community that reflect the rich diversity and uniqueness of Northern Virginia. Our season should fit into this mission to give a voice to members of our community to tell authentic stories. Something that makes CFTC unique is participation by multiple generations in many of our productions. We are looking for artists with a point of view and a story to tell. We are also looking for artists who share our values and are committed to casting and hiring creative team members with consciousness toward inclusivity of people of all races, genders, orientations, ages, abilities, body types, and backgrounds.
