For working paper or early stage work, please list your nomination of 5-7 discussants, in the order of your ranked preferences. We typically have one Japan-focused scholar, and one non-Japan scholar who can comment on theory, issue area, or methodology. Depending on the topic, organizers may also suggest other discussants, including graduate students. There will not be discussants for practice job talks. *
