St.
Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton (SJHH), The Research Institute and the W Booth
School of Engineering Practice and Technology at McMaster University (SEPT)
have formed a unique Healthcare and Engineering collaborative.
The
collaborative’s mission is to “combine the best in healthcare practice and
engineering education to advance quality outcomes for patients and families
through hands-on teaching and learning, research and technology.” Together we
will support the St Joe’s Framework of Innovation to CREATE, TEST and SPREAD
novel solutions that radically improve patient, caregiver and provider
experiences and outcomes at a lower cost of care.
Join us
for an interactive Lunch and Learn, hosted by Dr. Robert Fleisig to learn more
about the collaborative and how you can get involved to help shape ground
breaking collaboration between health and engineering.
We are
looking for YOUR IDEAS and SUGGESTIONS that will be used to shape impactful
innovation projects, focused on clinical priorities, that will begin in the
Fall of 2023.
All members
of the St Joe’s and McMaster University communities are encouraged to attend.
