Planning is underway for Smithfield's Christmas Tree Lighting, hosted by the Downtown Smithfield Development Corporation and Smithfield Parks & Recreation, which will be held from 7:00 until approximately 8:30pm on Thursday, December 2.  We are seeking community organizations to provide activities for attendees (especially children).  Examples include games like "Pin the Tail on Rudolph," Candy Cane Limbo, Christmas themed face painting, musical performances, a live nativity, balloon twisting, and inflatables.  Opportunities may exist to financially sponsor an activity, if that is your preference.  If you have another idea, we're open to considering it, (other than offering food and beverages)!  Please submit the form, and we will be in touch regarding approval.
