Volunteer to be a contact when an international student or scholar is coming to your area.

By volunteering as a contact on ACMI-Link, you are committing to:
  -- Connect with the incoming student within a few days, by email or phone, to introduce yourself (preferably before they arrive)
  -- Find out what the student's perceived needs are and offer to help as you can
  -- Be available to orient the student to the campus and/or community as you can
  -- Update your contact information in the ACMI-Link directory whenever it changes
  -- Be in agreement with ACMI’s Statement of Faith

Note: ACMI-Link does NOT provide financial assistance (grant or loans), medical or legal assistance, VISA assistance, or work permits.

Becoming an ACMI-Link contact does not constitute membership in ACMI.
