Wallace Students Senior & Family,
We cannot believe it is already that time of the year to send out this letter to our graduating Wallace Students seniors. For some of you we have known you since you came into student ministry as a 6th grader and for others, we have just gotten to know you in the past year or two. No matter how long you’ve been a part of this ministry, we are equally as proud of all our seniors as you celebrate this huge milestone and accomplishment of graduating from high school! We want to join in celebrating you and your graduation, so we have a few opportunities we’d love for you to be a part of!
1. Graduation Sunday - On May 12, 2024, we will be honoring our seniors at the beginning of the 10:00 AM service. Graduates will need to wear their cap and gowns for the recognition. We’ll also have a senior photo booth available for pictures before and after the services! Please meet in your senior connect class by 9:30 AM that morning.
2. Senior Night at The Six/Senior Dinner - On May 15, 2024, we will spend our Wednesday night service time celebrating our seniors. This will include worship, games, senior testimonies, slideshows, and other activities planned by senior leaders. Parents of seniors are encouraged to join us that evening in the student center. Immediately following The Six, we will meet at the Gribinet's House to eat dinner together from 8-9:30 PM. This dinner is just for our graduates and their connect leaders. 3. Senior Picture - We will have a webpage for the class of 2024, and we will need a senior picture from all of our graduates. It can be casual or formal. Please email all pictures to mcrabtree@wmbc.net or text Matt at 865-776-0207 by May 8th at the latest (the sooner the better)
We hope you can make it to both times of celebration! Please RSVP by May 8th if you can make it to one or both of our senior recognition activities. If we do not receive an RSVP by this date, we’ll assume you won’t be able to make it to either.
